What’s Not to Love ?

Psalm 121 International Children’s Bible

I look up to the hills.
But where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord.
He made heaven and earth.
He will not let you be defeated.
He who guards you never sleeps.
He who guards Israel
never rests or sleeps.
The Lord guards you.
The Lord protects you as the shade protects you from the sun.
The sun cannot hurt you during the day.
And the moon cannot hurt you at night.
The Lord will guard you from all dangers.
He will guard your life.
The Lord will guard you as you come and go,
both now and forever.

Lord, I know You are there with me and with us all. Father, I know You love me with an unconditional love. God Almighty Protector, I know You guard me from both outside influences and inside demons. God the Healer, I know you take all circumstances and work them for Good. God the Way-Shower, I know You lead me down paths You would have me follow; even if I wander off the path and lose my way, You are always there reaching out for my hand to bring me closer to You.

I know this because You have shown Yourself to me, Lord. I have witnessed You in action. I have felt Your calm and steady presence. I have been healed in so many ways. I have lost my way and stumbled onto paths that led nowhere good; You never gave up looking for me until You found me and brought me home. I have a lifetime of thanks for Your love. I have an eternity to learn more about Your omnipotence, omnipresence, and omniscience. Amen

Numbers 23:19 Easy-to-Read Version
God is not a man;
he will not lie.
God is not a human being;
his decisions will not change.
If he says he will do something,
then he will do it.
If he makes a promise,
then he will do what he promised.
