I Need a Hero

Lord, God, Father, all Goodness and Glory are Yours. This life is full of moments that take my breath away. I am not meant to understand the whys behind any second, minute, day, week, month, season I live. Events, people, situations, crowd their way into my life path. My actions and reactions are rarely planned and never thought through. I have stumbled and fallen face down on paths I was not meant to travel. Yet somehow, Dear Lord, You have always been there and lifted me up and out of the mud and the muck in which I’d landed. You’ve taught me much about living. You’ve shown me compassion. You’ve offered help and guidance when I didn’t even know how lost I really was.

I have often wondered why the hard difficult path was the one I’d choose time after time. What would You have me do now? As I mature, I see through to the pain in others that so long lived inside me. I have no answers. I have no magic cures. I have no wisdom worth sharing. I only have the unshakable trust and faith that You, Lord, have never let go of my hand. Use my faults, flaws, and failures, to further Your work on Earth.  Amen

Zephaniah 3:17 GOD’S WORD Translation
The Lord your God is with you.
He is a hero who saves you.
He happily rejoices over you,
renews you with his love,
and celebrates over you with shouts of joy.

Psalm 46:1 Easy-to-Read Version
God is our protection and source of strength.
He is always ready to help us in times of trouble.

When the world says, “Give up,”
Hope whispers, “Try it one more time.”
