I’m Good

It’s amazing how writing seems to get me into and out of myself. Response from my readers also helps. I love hearing from my friends and family. Sharing who I am on a deep level allows me to truly connect with others, helping me be good and stay good … if that makes sense.

Connecting with You, Dear Lord, affirms Your Omnipotence, Your Omniscience, and Your Omnipresence in my life and in the lives of all Your children. I understand more clearly both my insignificance in the scheme of things as well as the vital relationship we have.

Daily communication with You, Dear Lord, keeps me focused; writing reveals to me truths about myself I may not consciously know; trying to follow You, the Way-Shower, is a constant challenge for me. My aim is high, my actual percentage is hit and miss; but You know me, Dear Father, and know my intentions are good, whether my thoughts and actions bear an accurate reflection of those good intentions. Thank You, Dear Lord, for your infinite patience with me. I am a work in progress; I pray my progression is in Your direction, the direction You would have me follow.  Amen

When the world says, “Give up,” Hope whispers, “Try it one more time.” ~Author Unknown

Nobody trips over mountains. It is the small pebble that causes you to stumble. Pass all the pebbles in your path and you will find you have crossed the mountain. ~Author Unknown

Romans 5:3-5  Living Bible
We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us—they help us learn to be patient. And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady. Then, when that happens, we are able to hold our heads high no matter what happens and know that all is well, for we know how dearly God loves us, and we feel this warm love everywhere within us because God has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

Be Not Dismayed Whate’er Betide
Author: Civilla D. Martin  1904

Be not dismayed whate’er betide,
God will take care of you;
Beneath His wings of love abide,
God will take care of you.

God will take care of you,
Through every day,
O’er all the way;
He will take care of you,
God will take care of you.

Through days of toil when heart doth fail,
God will take care of you;
When dangers fierce your path assail,
God will take care of you.

God will take care of you,
Through every day,
O’er all the way;
He will take care of you,
God will take care of you.

No matter what may be the test,
God will take care of you;
Lean, weary one upon His breast,
God will take care of you.

God will take care of you,
Through every day,
O’er all the way;
He will take care of you,
God will take care of you.
